The bigger question is will T10 listen and fix it, or just ignore it entirely to their own detriment. T10 currently does not do FFB properly and if they carry over that same FFB to PC, expect them to get slammed just like Dirt Rally did. What T10 should be doing is that ALL wheels are set to 900 (or 1080 for thrustmasters) and then imposing soft locks PER VEHICLE in game.ou should never be changing the rotation on your wheel.ĭirt rally did this initially and got slammed to the point they had to rewrite their FFB entirely to be in line with every other sim on the market that does it properly.
This is implicitly wrong and not how you do FFB. Go find the FFB thread in the FM6 forum where they recommend you use xyz rotation for certain vehicles. It's that T10's FFB implementation is broken and wrong. It's not about what wheels are supported. If that doesn't mean G25/G27, Fanatec, Thrustmaster, etc. The announcement specifically says "wheel support is coming to Forza Motorsport 6: Apex and Turn 10 is busy working to ensure that Apex delivers the kind of wheel support, performance, and features that racing fans expect from a range of available hardware." I sincerely doubt they will limit to only xbox one wheels. After playing DR and feeling what I have been missing while playing Forza games, I don't think I will even waste my time. I will wait on this until this is answered. The question I need to know is: will it be the same wheel support as on xbox, or are they going to do it properly? see Dirt Rally for reference where they listened and rewrote their entire FFB to behave properly like every sim on PC. I like the fact they mention wheel support will come. Killer instinct framerate problems (I do believe these are solved now though). Quantum break isnt fixable due to engine design choices for the xbox one then shoe horned onto PC with little regard. The Graphics settings leaked earlier appear to be nothing more than T10 enabling what would be the hidden console menu. The specs are high because they are most likely using brute force instead of optimizing for the PC platform properly. Just look at how unoptimized/broken every UWP game MS has released has been though. Maybe for pc games but look at most racing sims/titles recommended specs. Otherwise, the default is to save to C.LocalAppData\Packages. Then to set the destination drive for Win10 apps, press Start > Settings > System > Storage > Save Locations > New apps will be saved to: and set your destination drive.
